Here’s a nifty idea to stash away for later — window farming.
I saw a link to windowfarm.org on Twitter this morning and checked it out. The website explains the concept and has a forum for window farmers to discuss issues/solutions. People who do this can either purchase a kit or make their own.
I’m wondering if it would work well in a kitchen window we have that gets adequate enough light for me to start my seedlings.
It’s definitely an option if I want to garden and get fresh greens in the winter, but when I proposed it to Matt I got a typical response:
“Great! That’s exactly what we need…more clutter in the apartment.”
Always a pooper, he is. I still think it’s a neat idea that I might try.
